- Postcode — when you search for dental practices near you. Postcodes are processed to determine your approximate location and find nearby practices.

- IP address and browser information — collected automatically by our web server when you visit the site. This is standard for all websites.
- Cookies — see Section 6 below for details.
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, financial details, or government identifiers.

4. Sharing Your Data

- Google Maps — when you view a practice location, your browser communicates with Google. Google’s privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Postcodes.io — we use this open-data service to convert postcodes to geographic coordinates. No personal identifiers are stored by this service beyond the postcode itself.
- Hosting provider — our website is hosted on servers in the EU/UK. Server logs (including IP addresses) are held by our hosting provider under a data processing agreement.
- Legal obligation — we may disclose data if required to do so by law or a court order.
5. Data Retention
- Postcode searches — postcodes entered into the search form are not stored in our database. They are used in real time to return results and are not retained after your session ends.
- Server logs — retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then automatically deleted.
- Email enquiries — retained for up to 2 years, then deleted.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use the following cookies:
